About the Role

SourceEase HR Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented fresh graduates who are passionate about software quality and testing. As a Quality Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing web applications, identifying bugs, documenting issues, and ensuring that software products meet quality standards before release.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in Manual Testing while gaining exposure to modern testing tools, Agile development practices, and real-world software projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform manual testing of web-based applications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Work closely with developers to resolve reported issues.
- Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and quality standards.
- Participate in daily team meetings and sprint activities.
- Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.
- Learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.

Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).




- Familiarity with Manual Testing techniques.
- Understanding of Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools.
- Understanding of APIs and REST services is an advantage.
- Exposure to testing tools like Jira, Postman, or Selenium (preferred but not mandatory).

Educational Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or equivalent.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
