Job Summary

Test Engineer / QA Engineer – OSS/NMS/EMS & AI Platform Validation

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including manual functional testing and exposure to test automation frameworks.

Strong experience testing OSS/BSS, NMS, EMS, Network Management, Telecom Operations, or Enterprise Monitoring Platforms.

Proven ability to derive and design test cases from Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.

Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, for backend and database validation.

Experience in API testing using Postman, REST clients, or equivalent tools.

Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Exposure to cloud-native and distributed application testing.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile setting

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and maintain functional, integration, and non-functional test cases for cloud-based products and platforms.

Analyze business and system requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data with end-to-end coverage.

Validate integrations between the platform and third-party tools such as Qualys, EasyIP, CheckMK, NetBrain, and other OSS/IT operations systems.

Build and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) ensuring end-to-end traceability from requirements, design, test scenarios, and defects.

Identify and proactively highlight gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in requirements and test coverage.

Perform backend and data-layer validation using SQL/PostgreSQL, including verification of database records, notification queues, logs,



and data integrity checks.

Conduct API validation and integration testing using tools such as Postman and REST-based clients.

Validate AI/GenAI-driven components including RCA Agent, Security Agent, Ticket Resolution Agent, and Technical Assistant Agent for accuracy, consistency, groundedness, and alignment with underlying source data.

Review application, system, and integration logs to identify defects and support root cause analysis.

Work closely with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
