About the Role We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across enterprise data platforms. You will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to test data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes while maintaining high-quality data standards.

Key Responsibilities Validate end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to target databases and data warehouses.

Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation processes.

Perform data validation using complex SQL queries to verify data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

Test REST APIs used for data ingestion and integration using tools such as Postman.

Validate data quality, business rules, schema changes, and transformation logic.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and production validation testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.





Collaborate with Data Engineering and Development teams to troubleshoot data issues and verify fixes.

Automate repetitive data validation tasks using SQL, Python, or automation frameworks where applicable.

Support production releases and perform post-deployment data validation.

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, execution reports, and test documentation.

Required Skills 7+ years of experience in Data/ETL Testing or Data Quality Assurance.

Robust expertise in SQL with hands-on experience writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and stored procedures.

Experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines and validating source-to-target data.

Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar REST API tools.

Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Experience with Linux/Unix commands for log analysis and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
