Role Overview :

As a Telephony Engineer, you will serve as a technical lead for our voice infrastructure, focusing on the design, deployment, and optimization of complex VoIP systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to architect resilient call flows and integrate advanced telephony features into our existing platforms. Your work will directly impact the quality of service, system stability, and user experience for our global customer base, ensuring that our infrastructure remains capable of handling high-volume traffic with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain high-availability FreeSWITCH environments to ensure seamless voice traffic management and system uptime.
- Design and implement complex IVR systems and call routing logic to optimize customer interaction workflows and operational efficiency.




- Troubleshoot and resolve intricate SIP and RTP signaling issues to maintain superior voice quality and connectivity across global networks.
- Develop and integrate WebRTC solutions to bridge traditional telephony with modern web-based communication platforms.
- Optimize database performance using SQL to manage call detail records, system logs, and real-time configuration data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable telephony features and infrastructure upgrades.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing and scaling FreeSWITCH-based telephony platforms within a Linux-based production workplace.
- Deep understanding of VoIP protocols, specifically SIP and RTP, with the ability to perform packet-level analysis for complex troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to design and script sophisticated IVR systems and call flows that meet specific business logic requirements.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management, reporting, and performance tuning of telephony-related data.
- Experience implementing WebRTC technologies to support modern, browser-based communication interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to communicate technical constraints and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid/on-site environment in the Delhi NCR region, demonstrating adaptability to evolving project timelines and technical challenges.
