Experienced embedded Linux engineer with strong expertise in software architecture design, xPON ONT system development, and L2/L3 forwarding software. Skilled in ARM/MIPS architecture, device driver development, and debugging in embedded systems. Proficient in C, C++, scripting languages and Linux kernel programming, with hands-on experience in board bring-up and peripheral integration.
Focused on delivering high-quality, customer-oriented features and maintaining effective cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
Are you passionate about becoming a part of effective BBD SW group, you will be responsible for:
- Customer specification and requirement analysis together with product manager and product architecture.
- Software design and implementation according to product and technical specification.
- Embedded Linux software development for Network protocols, layer 2/3 data forwarding, GPON, WLAN applications.
- Responsible for continuous software module refactoring and architecture evolution.
- Analyzing,
debugging and fixing customer issues. Doing Root Cause Analysis and defining and implementing preventive actions.
Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecom or equivalent
- 7 to 15 years of experience in network SW development projects.
- Good knowledge in software design and development, well understanding the embedded Linux and OPENWRT, PurpleOS system
- Proficient in C/C++ and Script programming languages
- Development experience in Network layer 2/3 data forwarding development
It would be nice if you also add:
- Development experience in GPON, ONT, home gateway products or Wi-Fi Extenders.
- Experience in 802.11 specifications.
- Development experience in Linux device application, network management and Network protocols.
- Fluency in technical writing and communication skills
