Role Summary The Senior Manager / Technical Solution Leader - Test Automation, AI & Medical Devices will support and lead client-facing solutioning, technical architecture, presales contributions and AI-led test engineering transformation initiatives for Medical Devices and Life Sciences clients.

The role is designed for a hands-on automation leader who can contribute directly to automation strategy, framework design, estimation, proof-of-concepts, technical deep-dives, reusable accelerators, proposal content and delivery readiness.

The individual will partner with account teams, delivery leaders, quality teams, regulatory-aware engineering SMEs and AI specialists to shape differentiated solutions across V&V;, test automation, quality engineering, digital engineering and AI-assisted product validation.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Solutioning & Presales Support

- Lead or contribute to solutioning for Medical Devices V&V;, software testing, systems testing, regression automation, quality engineering and sustaining engineering opportunities.
- Support RFPs, RFIs, capability presentations, proactive proposals, technical solution narratives, estimation models, assumptions, delivery models and staffing inputs.
- Partner with account and delivery teams to convert customer testing challenges into automation strategy, target-state architecture, roadmap, MVP plan and measurable outcomes.
- Participate in client discovery discussions, automation assessment workshops, framework reviews, estimation reviews, pursuit governance and delivery handover sessions.
- Create reusable proposal content, test automation reference architectures, framework diagrams, accelerator descriptions, case-study narratives and demo scripts.

Hands-on Automation Architecture & Engineering Leadership

- Provide practical architecture guidance for test automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, data, regression, smoke, performance and continuous testing contexts.
- Contribute hands-on to prototypes, proof-of-concepts, framework selection, test data strategy, CI/CD integration patterns, reporting models and automation feasibility validation.
- Guide teams on maintainable automation design, modularity, reliability, scalability, traceability, reusability, observability and execution efficiency.
- Review automation assumptions, technical risks, dependencies, tool fitment, infrastructure needs and delivery readiness before proposal submission and project transition.
- Mentor technical leads and engineers in automation design, code-quality mindset, test engineering discipline, documentation and estimation rigor.

AI-Led Testing & Medical Devices V&V; Transformation

- Identify GenAI and AI use cases across requirements analysis, test design,



script generation, test data creation, defect triage, impact analysis, regression optimization, documentation and quality analytics.
- Shape AI-enabled testing solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, workflow automation, intelligent analytics and AI-assisted SDLC approaches.
- Collaborate with AI CoEs and engineering teams to build demos, POCs, accelerators, adoption roadmaps and business cases for AI-enabled test engineering transformation.
- Embed responsible AI considerations such as data privacy, traceability, validation strategy, explainability, auditability, governance and human-in-the-loop reviews for regulated contexts.
- Quantify AI value through productivity improvement, test-cycle reduction, defect prevention, faster regression, knowledge reuse, documentation acceleration and compliance-readiness narratives.

Medical Devices Quality, V&V; & Regulated Engineering Solutioning

- Support medical-device solutioning across product development, verification, validation, release, maintenance, sustenance and post-market quality phases.
- Bring regulated-domain awareness into automation solutions through traceability, risk-based testing, evidence generation, documentation discipline and audit-ready practices.
- Collaborate with software, systems, embedded, cloud, data, cybersecurity, quality and regulatory SMEs to shape integrated test engineering solutions.
- Help build accelerators around requirements traceability, test management, defect analytics, automated evidence collection, release readiness dashboards and validation documentation.
- Contribute to pragmatic transformation roadmaps that balance innovation, compliance, reuse, cost, risk and delivery feasibility.

Client Engagement & Delivery Readiness

- Prepare client-ready technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, business cases, demos, cost-benefit narratives and outcome-based proposal sections.
- Explain automation architecture, tooling options and technical trade-offs in a business-friendly manner for customer stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Capture customer needs, constraints, system context, regulatory expectations, success criteria, timeline assumptions, risks and dependencies during discovery workshops.
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with delivery maturity and regulated-domain expectations.
- Support transition from pursuit to delivery through clear documentation of scope, architecture, assumptions, estimates, risks, dependencies,



acceptance criteria and success measures.

Preferred Experience

- Medical Devices, Life Sciences, software testing, V&V;, quality engineering, test automation or regulated product engineering exposure.
- Experience contributing to automation assessments, solutioning, presales, customer workshops, proposal development, technical estimations or delivery-readiness activities.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, automation architecture, CI/CD integration, reporting, test management, defect management and toolchain modernization.
- Exposure to AI / GenAI, automation analytics, AI-assisted testing, test optimization, quality engineering transformation or digital engineering productivity initiatives.
- Ability to convert test engineering capability and delivery experience into transparent client-ready value propositions and solution narratives.
- Experience collaborating with account, solution, delivery, quality, regulatory, software and AI specialist teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12-18+ years of experience in engineering services, test automation, software testing, quality engineering, medical devices, Life Sciences or related delivery / solutioning roles.
- Proven ability to support complex stakeholder discussions and contribute to technical solution design, proposal quality and delivery readiness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-ready presentations, technical proposals, solution documentation and workshops.
- Working knowledge of quality-oriented engineering practices, regulated delivery expectations and customer-facing governance.
