Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves engaging with existing and potential customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend suitable welding, CNC, and fabrication solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and delivering technical presentations, conducting product demonstrations,



and supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.

The Technical Sales

Engineer will coordinate with internal engineering and service teams, provide pre- and post-sales technical support, and assist in commissioning and troubleshooting equipment as needed. The role also includes maintaining customer relationships, documenting client interactions, and contributing to market feedback and product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills to identify opportunities, present solutions, and close orders.

Hands-on Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to translate client needs into appropriate machine configurations and provide reliable after-sales assistance.

Excellent Communication skills for engaging with clients, delivering presentations, and collaborating with internal teams.

Educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline; diploma or degree preferred.

Experience with welding equipment, CNC cutting machines, fabrication machinery, or industrial automation is highly beneficial.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and machine documentation.

Comfort with on-site visits, field travel, and working in industrial environments.

Proactive problem-solving approach, customer-centric mindset, and willingness to learn new technologies and software tools.
