VACANCY FOR Technical Sales Coordinator / Inside Sales Engineer (Elastomer Products) Company Description:

Established in 2009, Revata Engineering is a well-recognized manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. The company manufactures rubber molded components, rubber-to-metal bonded assemblies, and precision sealing solutions, and operates under API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications. The company’s head office and manufacturing facility is in M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune. Role Description:

This is a full-time, office-based role at our Bhosari facility (with occasional plant and customer visits), reporting to the Sales Manager.

The Technical Sales

Coordinator / Inside Sales Engineer will act as the inside-sales and order-execution backbone for our rubber and elastomer products line, owning the complete enquiry-to-dispatch cycle internally so that the Sales Manager can focus on field sales and customer relationships. This role suits a technically inclined, detail-oriented qualified who enjoys coordinating across engineering, production, quality, and customers. Key Responsibilities:

Enquiry Handling & Quotations – Review customer enquiries and drawings for rubber/elastomer parts (seals, O-rings, molded components, wipers, stripper rubbers, etc.); coordinate with engineering on feasibility; prepare costings and techno-commercial quotations for the Sales Manager’s review; track and meet quotation turnaround times.

Order Processing & Contract Review – Convert customer POs into sales orders; verify specifications, compound/material grade, quantities, tolerances, price, and delivery terms against the quotation in line with ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1 contract-review requirements; release clean orders to production planning.

Production Follow-up – Track order status through molding, finishing, and inspection; flag delays early and drive recovery actions; coordinate with QC on test reports, CoCs, and material certificates required by the customer.

Customer Communication – Issue order acknowledgments, delivery schedules,



and proactive status updates; handle routine technical queries and escalate design/application questions to engineering; log customer complaints and follow them through to closure with QA.

Dispatch & Documentation – Coordinate packing, invoicing (including e-invoice/e-way bill), and dispatch documents – commercial invoice, packing list, and export documentation with correct Incoterms where applicable.

QMS (Sales Process) – Maintain sales-related QMS records: contract review records, customer complaint logs, customer feedback, and order amendment records; support internal and external ISO 9001 / API Q1 audits.

MIS & Reporting – Maintain enquiry/quote/order trackers and prepare hit-rate, pending-order, and receivables-status reports for management review. Qualifications:

Diploma / BE in Rubber Technology, Polymer, or Mechanical Engineering (rubber/polymer background preferred given the product focus).

2–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or order management in rubber, polymer, sealing, or precision components manufacturing.

Ability to read engineering drawings and basic tolerances; familiarity with elastomer fundamentals (NBR/HNBR/FKM/EPDM, Shore hardness, compression/transfer/injection molding) – or strong aptitude to learn.

Working knowledge of ERP order entry and strong Excel skills; exposure to ISO 9001 documentation and record-keeping.

Strong follow-up discipline, ownership of timelines, and clear written English for customer and export correspondence. Nice to Have:

Exposure to ISO 9001, API Spec Q1 or oil & gas / oilfield customer requirements.

Hands-on experience with export documentation and Incoterms.

Familiarity with CRM tools and GST e-invoicing / e-way bill processes.

Multilingual abilities (Marathi/Hindi) are a plus.
