Role Description The Technical Plant Head is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, responsible for end-to-end leadership of plant operations in a polymer and chemical manufacturing environment. This position oversees daily production activities, ensures adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards, and drives efficiency across all manufacturing processes. The role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams to meet output and cost targets.

Head will manage plant budgets, track key performance indicators, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves mentoring plant staff, implementing best practices in manufacturing and safety, and collaborating with senior management on strategic operational decisions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in plant operations and production management, with proven ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.

Experience in production planning and budgeting, including capacity planning, cost control, and resource optimization.

Sound knowledge of quality control practices, process standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to polymers, chemicals, and packaging.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising cross-functional plant teams.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field.

Prior experience as a Plant Head, Production Manager, or similar senior role in polymers, plastics, packaging, or chemical manufacturing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with familiarity in using data and KPIs for operational decision-making.

Commitment to workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S, Six Sigma preferred).
