Role Summary

Reporting to the CTO, this strategic leadership role combines hands-on product engineering with R&D; leadership. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams while partnering with the CTO and management to define SAN Telequip's technology strategy, product roadmap and future innovation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead development of Managed Ethernet Switches, Routers, Gateways, Protocol Converters and IIoT products.

· Provide strategic inputs for the company's 3–5 year R&D; roadmap and product strategy.

· Work closely with the CTO and management on technology planning, platform selection and portfolio expansion.

· Lead Embedded, Hardware, Linux, Networking, UI/UX and Cyber Security teams.

· Manage shared resources including Testing, PCB Design, Validation and Certification across projects.

· Drive project planning, resource allocation, risk management and on-time delivery.

· Mentor engineering teams and build a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

Essential Skills

· Leadership & People Management

· Proven experience leading engineering teams of 5–10 or more members. · Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, and team-building skills. · Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across Embedded Software, Hardware, Linux, Networking, UI/UX, Cyber Security, Testing, and PCB Design. · Experience managing shared engineering resources across multiple concurrent projects.



· Project & Program Management

· Proven track record of delivering products from concept to commercialization. · Robust project planning, estimation, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management skills. · Ability to manage multiple product development projects simultaneously. · Excellent execution and delivery orientation. · Product Development

· Experience developing commercial products—not just prototypes. · Understanding of the complete Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). · Experience with product architecture, system design, verification, validation, and product release. · Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR). · Technical Expertise

· Strong knowledge in most of the following: · Embedded Systems · Embedded Linux / OpenWrt · Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6) · Ethernet Switching and Routing · Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocols · Industrial Ethernet · Network Security fundamentals · Hardware and Firmware integration · System Architecture · Industrial Communication Protocols

· Hands-on knowledge of one or more:

· Modbus RTU/TCP · IEC 61850 · DNP3 · BACnet · MQTT · SNMP · OPC UA (preferred) · Networking Technologies

· VLAN · STP / RSTP / MSTP · QoS · ERPS / MRP · HSR / PRP (preferred) · DHCP · NAT · VPN · Firewall concepts · Product Strategy

Requirements · 8–15 years' experience in product development.

· 3–5+ years leading engineering teams and projects.

· Strong leadership, project/program management and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience with industrial networking, embedded systems and Linux preferred.
