We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide a team of Data Engineers building and maintaining data pipelines on DBT Core and Amazon Redshift, with Airflow orchestration as a plus. This role sits between individual contributors and Solution Managers, responsible for technical direction, code quality, and hands-on problem-solving across the data engineering pod.

The Technical

Lead will need robust SQL and data modeling depth to guide design decisions, review work, and unblock the team — while also being comfortable engaging with business stakeholders given the visibility of this work Roles & Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities

Provide technical direction and hands-on guidance to a team of Data Engineers working on DBT models and Redshift pipelines

Review DBT model design, SQL logic, and data transformations for correctness, performance, and maintainability

Own data modeling decisions — dimensional modeling, schema design,



and layering (staging/intermediate/marts)

Troubleshoot complex pipeline, query performance, and data quality issues escalated by the team

Coordinate with Solution Managers on delivery planning, task breakdown, and technical risk visibility

Guide adoption of Airflow orchestration practices where applicable

Mentor Data Engineers on SQL, data modeling, and DBT best practices

Represent the technical team in front of business stakeholders and partners as needed

Ensure consistency and standards across the data engineering pod's deliverables Mandatory Skills
