– Technical Writer (Manufacturing / Lean Systems)

Role: Technical Writer

Location: Sanand(Gujarat)

Purpose of the Role The Technical Writer will create, standardize, and maintain high-quality documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and training materials that support manufacturing operations, lean processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process guides, manuals, templates, and reference documents.
- Create documentation for lean manufacturing practices such as Standardized Work, 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, Daily Management, and Problem Solving.
- Convert complex manufacturing processes into clear, user-friendly documentation for shopfloor teams and leaders.
- Develop training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides, participant manuals, and quick reference guides.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, and other stakeholders to gather process information.
- Conduct document reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain document version control.




- Manage documentation repositories using SharePoint or other document management systems.

Key Deliverables

- SOPs, work instructions, process manuals, and templates.
- Training presentations and learning materials.
- Lean deployment toolkits, checklists, and visual management standards.
- Updated and controlled documentation repository.

Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in technical writing, manufacturing documentation, lean systems, QMS, Kaizen documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into transparent, structured documentation.
