Job Title: Technical Architect – Assessment Platforms (Computer-Based Testing)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in Computer-Based Testing (CBT), Digital Assessment Platforms, Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, and AI-driven Assessment Technologies .

The ideal candidate will architect and lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-availability assessment platforms capable of supporting millions of assessments across educational institutions, enterprises, certification bodies, and government organizations.

The role requires solid technical leadership in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, AI-based online proctoring, assessment analytics, and enterprise integrations while ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment Platform Architecture

- Architect and build enterprise-scale Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and Digital Assessment Platforms supporting high-volume concurrent users.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available assessment ecosystems for objective, subjective, coding, adaptive, and psychometric assessments.
- Define end-to-end architecture for examination workflows including registration, scheduling, question delivery, assessment execution, evaluation, result processing, and certification.
- Design multi-tenant architectures capable of supporting multiple institutions, enterprises, and government projects.

Cloud & Solution Architecture

- Design cloud-native and hybrid architectures using AWS as the primary cloud platform with exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Build highly scalable microservices-based architectures using containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Implement serverless computing, API gateways, event-driven architecture, messaging queues, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity,



and fault-tolerant system design.

Assessment Data Engineering

- Design scalable assessment data pipelines for:
- Question Banks
- Candidate Profiles
- Assessment Metadata
- Exam Responses
- Scoring Engines
- Analytics Platforms
- Architect real-time and batch data processing frameworks.
- Design assessment data warehouses and reporting architectures.
- Optimize large-scale data storage and retrieval for assessment platforms.

AI-Driven Assessment & Proctoring

- Architect intelligent online proctoring solutions using AI and Computer Vision.
- Develop solutions for:
- Face Detection
- Face Recognition
- Identity Verification
- Object Detection
- Behavioral Analytics
- Voice Monitoring
- Screen Monitoring
- Browser Monitoring
- Suspicious Activity Detection
- Integrate Machine Learning models for automated exam integrity monitoring.
- Improve fraud detection using AI-driven anomaly detection models.

Platform Integration

- Design APIs and integration frameworks with:
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- ERP Systems
- HRMS Platforms
- Identity Providers (SSO)
- Payment Gateways
- Government Portals
- Third-party Assessment Platforms
- Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.

Analytics & Reporting

- Design scalable reporting and analytics frameworks.
- Build dashboards for:
- Candidate Performance
- Assessment Analytics
- Item Analysis
- Psychometric Reports
- Proctoring Reports
- Compliance Monitoring
- Enable predictive analytics using AI and Big Data technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree is preferred.

Experience

- 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Computer-Based Testing (CBT) or Digital Assessment platforms.
- Experience handling high-volume, mission-critical systems with large concurrent user loads.
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
