Position Title: Team Lead

Business Function: Ops Transformation Wealth Management

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

1. Manage end-to-end Custodian and NAV Reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.

2. Review and oversee daily reconciliation activities across cash, positions, transactions, and NAV balances.

3. Monitor reconciliation breaks, investigate root causes, and drive timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Ensure adherence to operational controls, SLAs, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

5. Review team outputs and maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables.

6. Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Team Leadership

1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reconciliation analysts and senior associates.

2. Allocate work effectively, monitor productivity, and ensure optimal resource utilization.

3. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development discussions.

4. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

5. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

1. Prepare and review management information reports (MIS), operational dashboards, and performance metrics.

2. Analyze reconciliation trends, exception reports, and productivity data to provide actionable insights.

3. Present operational updates, KPIs, and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

4. Act as the primary escalation point for critical operational issues and stakeholder queries.

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, custodians, fund administrators, and internal teams.

Process Improvement

1.



Drive process enhancement initiatives, automation opportunities, and standardization efforts.

2. Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, process maps, and control documentation.

3. Support transformation projects and implementation of new systems or operational workflows.

4. Promote Lean and continuous improvement practices to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Must Have

1. 6-9 years of experience in Investment Operations, Reconciliations, or Fund Operations.

2. Robust hands-on experience in Custodian Reconciliations and NAV Reconciliations.

3. Thorough understanding of investment products including Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and Alternative Investments.

4. Proven experience managing and leading operational teams.

5. Experience preparing and analyzing performance reporting, MIS, and operational dashboards.

6. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

8. Experience working in a controlled, SLA-driven operational environment.

Good to Have

- Exposure to Private Equity and Fund Accounting processes.

- Experience with reconciliation platforms and workflow management tools.

- Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution concepts.
