About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead / Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of next-generation enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities, managing high-performing engineering teams while remaining actively involved in architecture, design, and critical technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of scalable, high-performance applications using Java and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Agentic AI frameworks and contemporary AI technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Own technical design, architecture reviews, code quality, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to support their professional growth.
- Drive Agile development processes, sprint planning, estimation, and release management.
- Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, and infrastructure automation.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability,



and operational excellence.
- Identify technical risks, drive continuous improvements, and support strategic technology initiatives.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

- 10 to 12 years of experience in software engineering with strong expertise in Java.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI application development.
- Strong product engineering background with experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, cloud platforms, and deployment automation.
- Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, managing performance, and mentoring developers.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture, API design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Ability to balance technical leadership with people management and delivery ownership.
