Job Overview:

As a Team Leader Accounting Analyst, you will lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks while maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will oversee daily accounting activities, monitor team performance, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. In addition to hands-on accounting duties, you will mentor your team, foster collaboration, and ensure continuous improvement in financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid accounting foundation, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team objectives are met.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and the completeness of financial data.
- Journal Entries: Review and approve journal entries for accruals,



prepayments, and other adjusting entries during the month-end close process.
- Reconciliations: Supervise account reconciliations, including bank accounts, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Month-End/Year-End Closing: Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Oversee AP/AR functions, including the review and posting of invoices, processing payments, and reconciling customer and vendor accounts.
- Fixed Assets: Ensure accurate tracking and recording of fixed asset transactions, maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal controls. Assist with tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support management in decision-making.
- Audit Support: Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring schedules are prepared, documentation is provided, and audit requests are addressed in a timely manner.

Preferred Candidate Profile: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader with a strong accounting background. You will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing and analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.



You will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial information that will inform key business decisions. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, along with a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Required Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in ERP software with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within the finance team and across departments.

Educational Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in ERP software with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
