Role Description This is a full time, on-site teaching faculty role based in Chennai, focusing on Fashion Design, Interior Design (Architectural), Visual/Graphics Design, and UI/UX Design. The faculty member will plan and deliver lectures, studio sessions, and workshops, ensuring that course content is current, practice-based, and aligned with industry standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing syllabi, creating assignments and projects, guiding students in practical work and portfolio development, and providing constructive feedback and evaluation. The role also involves mentoring students, participating in curriculum development, collaborating on academic events, reviews, and exhibitions,



and contributing to academic administration and continuous improvement of programs.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Fashion Design, Interior/Architectural Design, Visual/Graphics Design, or UI/UX Design, with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts.
- Proficiency in design tools and software relevant to the specialization (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD tools, prototyping tools for UI/UX such as Figma or Sketch).
- Demonstrated skills in studio teaching, curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and classroom/studio management.
- Ability to guide students in research, concept development, design process, and professional portfolio creation.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design/Architecture, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, UI/UX, or a related field.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in design education or practice; experience in international or multidisciplinary environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and willingness to participate in institutional initiatives and academic events.
