Talent Acquisition Lead / Recruitment Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Lead with a strong background in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical) recruitment. The candidate will be responsible for contributing individually as well as leading the recruitment team to manage end-to-end hiring for both client and internal requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong team management capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience in managing multiple hiring requirements across different technologies and business functions. Experience in Aerospace or Automotive recruitment will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- The role is of individual contribution and leading the TA team.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to ensure effective delivery against hiring targets.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment activities for domestic hiring requirements.
- Provide sourcing and talent-mapping support for global/international hiring requirements.
- Manage recruitment activities for both clients hiring and internal/in-house hiring.
- Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, role expectations, and hiring priorities.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, skilled networks, and other recruitment channels.
- Identify, screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on technical skills, experience, and role requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of relevant and quality candidate profiles.




- Monitor team performance, recruitment metrics, pipeline status, turnaround time, and hiring progress.
- Conduct regular team reviews and provide coaching, guidance, and support to recruiters.
- Manage candidate engagement and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, manage offer discussions, and support candidate onboarding and joining.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
- Support recruitment reporting, dashboards, and management updates.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure smooth recruitment delivery.
- Continuously improve sourcing strategies, recruitment processes, and team productivity.

Required Skills and Experience

- Strong experience in Engineering recruitment, with exposure to hiring across multiple technology domains. Aerospace or Automotive recruitment experience will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, or managing a recruitment team.
- Strong experience in domestic recruitment and end-to-end hiring processes.
- Exposure to supporting global hiring or international sourcing requirements.




- Experience in managing both clients hiring and internal/in-house recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, and other talent-acquisition channels.
- Good understanding of technical skills, IT roles, and technology hiring trends.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication, negotiation, and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience in recruitment reporting, hiring metrics, and team performance tracking.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Engineering.
- Relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Staffing.

Preferred Experience

- 5-7 years of overall recruitment experience, majorly must be in engineering domain.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in team leadership or recruitment team management.
- Strong majority experience in IT recruitment is preferred.
