Job Title : Systems Engineer Vehicle Features (Body Control Systems)
Location : Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :
Systems Engineering &
Requirements Management :
- Capture, analyze, define, and manage customer, system, and functional requirements for Body Control features.
- Decompose high-level customer requirements into detailed hardware, software, and system-level requirements.
- Maintain complete bidirectional traceability throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop system specifications, feature requirements, interface specifications, operational scenarios, and use cases.
- Perform impact analysis for requirement changes and coordinate updates across engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with automotive systems engineering processes and organizational development standards.
System Architecture &
- Feature Development :
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Body Control features, including :
- Access &
- Security Systems : Passive Entry Passive Start (PEPS), Smart Key / Keyless Entry, Digital Key, Immobilizer Systems, Alarm Systems, Remote Lock &
- Unlock, Secure Vehicle Access Features.

Closure Systems : Power Doors, Tailgate Systems, Liftgate Control, Power Windows, Sunroof Control, Anti-Pinch Protection, Child Lock Functions, Central Locking Systems.

Lighting Systems : Interior Lighting, Exterior Lighting, Ambient Lighting, Signature Lighting, Welcome &
- Goodbye Lighting,
Adaptive Lighting Features.
- Comfort &
- Convenience Features : Seat Control Functions, Mirror Control Systems, Memory Seats, User Profiles, Personalization Features, Climate-related Body Functions.

Body Electronics : Body Control Modules (BCM), Sensors, Switches, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), Actuators, Vehicle Status Monitoring.
System Design &
- Integration :
- Develop system architecture and interface definitions between Body Electronics and other vehicle domains.
- Define communication interfaces between BCM, gateway modules, infotainment, powertrain, ADAS, and connectivity systems.
- Support technical feasibility studies and architecture trade-off analysis.
- Ensure seamless integration of Body Control features into the complete vehicle architecture.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams throughout implementation.
Vehicle Integration, Verification &
- Validation :
- Define system verification strategies and validation plans.
- Support Design Verification Plan (DVP) activities.
- Participate in vehicle integration testing and issue resolution.
- Coordinate system-level, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and vehicle-level testing.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in feature acceptance testing and production readiness activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
