Role Description The System Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hardware systems for electronic fuel injection and related automotive control applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing circuit designs, defining hardware architecture, selecting components, and preparing design documentation and schematics. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as embedded software, testing, manufacturing, and quality to ensure robust, production-ready solutions.
The engineer will participate in design validation, support prototype builds, troubleshoot hardware issues,
and contribute to continuous improvement of product performance and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Manesar facility.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and Hardware Design for embedded and automotive systems.
Candidates should possess expertise in Electronics Hardware Design and Circuit Design, including schematic capture and PCB-level implementation.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Hardware Architecture, including system-level design, component selection, and integration with software and mechanical systems.
Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field); advanced degree is an advantage.
Experience with automotive-grade components, EMI/EMC considerations, safety standards, and reliability testing is beneficial.
Proficiency with EDA tools (such as PCB design and simulation tools) and familiarity with hardware debugging equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Industry experience in automotive electronics, fuel injection systems, or powertrain control is an asset.
