Role Overview:

The Store – Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of multiple retail stores within a designated area across the state. This role focuses on leading store manager teams, building high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and consistently improving sales and profitability across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Performance &
- Revenue Growth

- Drive sales targets and revenue growth across all stores in the assigned area cluster

- Monitor store-wise performance and implement action plans to improve underperforming locations

- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities

- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs

1. Leadership &
- Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage Store Managers across multiple locations

- Build robust, motivated, and high-performing teams

- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training programs

- Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

- Will have approx. 40 reportees

1. Store Operations Excellence

- Ensure standardization of processes, visual merchandising, and customer experience across all stores





- Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and shrinkage control

- Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and audits

- Oversee new store openings and ensure smooth operations setup

1. Travel &
- Field Monitoring

- Regularly travel across cities/districts within the state to visit stores

- Conduct on-ground audits, reviews, and performance assessments

- Provide real-time problem-solving and operational support to store teams

1. Team Building &
- Talent Development

- Identify hiring needs and support recruitment of store-level staff

- Train and develop future leaders within the organization

- Improve employee retention through engagement and development initiatives

1. Customer Experience Management

- Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all stores

- Handle escalations and drive strong customer satisfaction scores

- Implement local initiatives to improve footfall and customer engagement

- Team productivity and attrition rate

- Customer satisfaction scores
