Role Description The Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Cerebry is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The SME will design and validate high-quality academic content, including questions, solutions, and explanatory materials aligned with curriculum standards. This role involves breaking down concepts into clear, incremental steps, reviewing AI-generated questions for accuracy and pedagogy, and suggesting improvements to the content generation logic.

The SME will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers,



and educators to ensure that the AI tutor reflects best teaching practices and supports diverse learner needs. Day-to-day work includes content creation, testing learning pathways, providing domain-specific guidance to the product team, and contributing to documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

Robust subject expertise in the relevant academic domain (e.g., mathematics, science, or other focus area) and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, structured ways.

Experience in curriculum design, assessment creation, or educational content development, including writing questions, solutions, and conceptual explanations.

Practical understanding of teaching and learning processes, such as scaffolding, common misconceptions, and differentiated instruction.

Comfort working with technology-driven products, collaborating with AI/ML teams, and providing feedback on content generation and learner pathways.

Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and a rigorous approach to accuracy and consistency.

Ability to work on-site in Noida, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related discipline); teaching or tutoring experience is a strong advantage.

Interest in adaptive learning, education technology, and improving access to high-quality tutoring for learners from diverse backgrounds.
