About Us:

Sarem Education is a study abroad consultancy founded by NRIs who are alumni of Dublin City University, Ireland. With our founders in Ireland and our counselling team in Nungambakkam, Chennai, we guide students to universities across Europe Germany, Ireland, UK, Italy, France and beyond with a student-first approach.

About the Role

This is a learning-intensive entry into the overseas education industry. You will work closely with our Senior Counsellors and be trained from the ground up on how abroad education actually works university systems, course selection, admissions, and student profiling.

Structured training will be provided, and frequent assessments will be conducted to track your progress.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist Senior Counsellors in university and course research across European destinations
- Support student profile understanding and documentation under senior guidance




- Learn and gradually handle parts of the counselling process — shortlisting, application prep, student follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status
- Participate actively in all training sessions and clear periodic assessments
- Contribute to student engagement activities and team initiatives

Mandatory Skills & Criteria

- Serious, demonstrable interest in student counselling and the abroad education field
- Excellent English communication — spoken and written (mandatory; you will interact with students and parents daily)
- Willingness to learn new processes and be assessed regularly
- Openness to feedback, and the discipline to act on it
- Robust team player who works well under senior guidance
- Any degree is acceptable, provided all the above criteria are met
