Role Description The Student Intern role at SRMIST is a full-time, on-site position based at the Kattankulathur campus in Chennai. Interns will support academic and research activities, assist faculty or project supervisors with data collection, documentation, and basic analysis, and contribute to ongoing departmental initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include literature review, preparation of reports or presentations, participation in lab or project work as applicable, and coordination of academic events or workshops.





Interns are expected to maintain regular attendance, follow institutional guidelines, collaborate with peers and staff, and actively seek learning opportunities that align with their academic interests.

Qualifications Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program at SRMIST or another recognized institution, with strong academic standing.

Ability to conduct basic research activities such as literature review, data organization, and documentation under guidance.

Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English for preparing reports, emails, and presentations.

Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and willingness to learn new tools as required.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines responsibly.

Demonstrated willingness to learn, collaborate with diverse teams, and follow academic and ethical standards.

Any prior exposure to project work, laboratory work, academic clubs, or internships will be considered an advantage.
