In addition to its digital tools, Verified Acres provides end-to-end land acquisition services, including legal and title due diligence, on-ground validation, survey and GIS mapping, and local liaison support.
Project-ready data dossiers help developers move from assessment to action more efficiently. The core mission is to cut land-sourcing timelines from months to weeks and offer a trusted, low-friction path to explore and secure viable sites.
Role Description The Strategic Investor and Co-Founder will play a central role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory, capital strategy, and market positioning. This on-site role, based in Ahmedabad, involves working closely with the founding team to refine the business model, support fundraising activities, and contribute to long-term strategic planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, guiding financial planning and performance metrics, engaging with key partners and clients in the renewable energy ecosystem, and supporting decisions on product expansion and geographic scale-up.
The role also includes mentoring the core team, strengthening governance and risk frameworks, and ensuring that capital is deployed effectively to drive sustainable growth. Qualifications
Proven experience in investment, venture capital, private equity, or strategic finance, ideally with exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or technology platforms.
Strong background in business strategy and growth planning, with the ability to co-create and execute a roadmap for scaling a B2B or SaaS venture.
Demonstrated capability in financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio management, with a disciplined approach to risk assessment.
Experience building or operating early-stage companies, including involvement in fundraising, stakeholder management, and governance.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, developers, and other ecosystem partners.
Comfort working in office in Ahmedabad and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; entrepreneurial track record is highly valued.
