We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring quality goods and services in a professional, timely, and cost-effective manner while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Acquire quality goods and services while ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure all purchases are made through Purchase Orders (P.O.) only—no verbal orders allowed.
- Inventory Management
- Optimize inventory holding using ABC classification of materials.
- Schedule purchases for fast-moving A-category items and monitor lead times for A and B-category items.
- Implement reorder level-based ordering for A and B items and a two-bin system/Min-Max approach for C-category items.
- Quality and Logistics Coordination
- Regularly follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Return defective materials immediately and provide feedback to suppliers for quality and logistics improvement.
- Coordinate with user departments to address feedback and enhance procurement processes.
- Record Keeping and Reporting




- Track monthly purchase status and perform inventory analysis.
- Maintain updated records daily, including pending order statuses.
- Prepare and manage the Management Information System (MIS) to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in procurement or supply chain management.
- Robust knowledge of inventory management systems and ABC classification.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.

- Strong analytical skills for inventory analysis and MIS reporting.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
