Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Officer role based in Bharuch.

The Store

Officer will oversee day-to-day store operations, including receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials to ensure accurate stock levels and timely availability for production and projects.

Responsibilities include maintaining records of incoming and outgoing materials, updating inventory systems, and verifying documentation such as purchase orders and delivery notes. The role involves coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams to manage material requirements, minimizing stock discrepancies and avoiding shortages or overstock.

Officer will also support periodic stock audits, adhere to safety and housekeeping standards in the store, and contribute to process improvements in inventory and material handling.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Stock Management skills to monitor material movements and maintain accurate stock records.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills to manage stock levels, prevent variances, and support regular stock audits.
- Candidates should possess experience handling Purchase Orders and related documentation to ensure correct receipt and issue of materials.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with ERP or inventory management software, along with good MS Excel skills for reporting.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in store or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or construction materials; a diploma or degree in supply chain, commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
