Role Overview
As an Academic Counsellor, you will guide graduates and working professionals in selecting the right certification and career-development programs based on their education, experience and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective learners on suitable career and certification programs
Understand learner profiles and recommend appropriate training pathways
Manage inbound and outbound enquiries
Follow up with prospective learners and support them through the enrolment process
Build professional and long-term relationships with learners
Achieve monthly enrolment targets
Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in the CRM
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand career goals and provide structured guidance
Consultative sales and counselling approach
Self-motivated, organised and target-focused
Basic knowledge of professional certification or IT training domains is preferred
Fresh graduates with robust communication skills may also apply
