Provide leadership and guidance around Manufacturing feasibility from initial concept development through to factory launch, in the area of stampings

BE/Btech/ME/MTech

Required Experience

10 years' relevant experience including positions of responsibility

Internal and External Interactions

Internal - Engineering Team, QAD, CP, Manufacturing

External - Toolmaker

Role Description

- Manage excellence in the forming simulation team

- Deliver feasibility support to ensure designs meet manufacturing processes

- Take responsibility to mentor, train and develop the AMEC team





- Awareness of market trends and developments in order to influence and manage the future development of the team

- Providing appropriate support and guidance to BIW and Closures teams

- Work with other departments and functions as required forming simulations

- Manage material matrix complexity

- Knowledge of mixed material structures Steel, Aluminium

- Knowledge of press tooling

- Knowledge of stamping simulation

- Knowledge of Catia V5

- Knowledge of Autoform
