Job Summary

We are looking for a Staff QA Engineer to lead and champion the Quality Engineering (QE) Test Automation strategy across all digital applications and services at 7-Eleven. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to test automation team, fostering excellence and scalability in automation solutions and ensuring adherence to best coding practices. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of digital products and features to deliver high-quality, integrated testing solutions that support business objectives

Responsibilities

- Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java-based tools (Selenium, Selenide, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, RestAssured, Karate).

- Lead mobile automation initiatives with Appium for both iOS and Android platforms.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality validation.

- Establish and maintain a robust test data strategy to support multi-environment testing.

- Conduct advanced performance benchmarking using JMeter, Gatling, k6 and provide actionable insights.





- Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.

- Utilize test management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, or similar for planning and reporting.

- Mentor QA engineers, set up frameworks, and enforce best practices across teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

- 11-13 years of experience in QA and test automation with robust expertise in Selenium with Java.

- Proven hands-on experience in Appium automation for iOS and Android applications.

- Solid expertise in API automation using RestAssured.

- Hans on experience in performance testing and benchmarking.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and collaboration skills.

- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.

- BrowserStack experience preferred.
