Description Bread Financial is hiring a Lead Data Platform Agentic AI Engineer to design and build secure, scalable GenAI and Agentic AI platform capabilities. The role focuses on foundational services that help product teams deliver reliable AI features quickly and safely.

Role: Lead Data Platform Agentic AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid, 6-8 days per month in office

Experience

- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience building AI platform components
- 4+ years of experience implementing LLM-based services
- Experience with prompt templates, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and rate/latency management

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study or equivalent relevant work experience

Responsibilities

- Design and build orchestration layers for LLM workflows and multi-step agent pipelines
- Develop core platform capabilities for secure, scalable GenAI and Agentic AI solutions
- Implement vector data infrastructure including indexing strategies, embeddings management, RAG patterns, and data lifecycle controls
- Develop LLM interfaces and SDKs that abstract providers, standardize prompts, and enable guardrails
- Integrate logging, tracing, metrics,



prompt/response analytics, eval pipelines, and SLO dashboards
- Enforce security and governance controls for model and endpoint access
- Use robust technical judgement and contribute to platform design decisions
- Work closely with platform, security, and application teams
- Productionize new capabilities and drive platform adoption through documentation, templates, and enablement

Additional Responsibilities

- Ensure platform components are production-ready, well-governed, and aligned to enterprise standards
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Perform root-cause analysis
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
- Implement IaC, CI/CD for model and prompt artifacts, environment promotion, and cost monitoring/optimization

Nice To Have

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study or equivalent relevant work experience
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience building AI platform components
