Role Description The Sr. Consultant role at OpenText is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the Sr. Consultant collaborates with clients to understand business requirements, designs and configures OpenText VIM / xECM solutions, and leads implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical and functional assessments, preparing solution documentation, performing system integration and testing, and guiding customers through deployment and adoption. The Sr. Consultant partners with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues,



optimize performance, and recommend enhancements that align with best practices in information management, cloud, and AI.

This role also involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the consulting practice.

Qualifications

6 years of Solid SAP ABAP, Fiori and Advanced ABAP consulting skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder management, and client communication.

Experience with enterprise information management, cloud platforms, or AI-driven business solutions, preferably within large-scale or global environments.

Proficiency in system integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting within complex IT landscapes.

Ability to create clear technical and functional documentation, including design specifications, use cases, and implementation plans.

Demonstrated capability to mentor and guide team members, collaborate across functions, and work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, information management, or consulting methodologies are an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an inclusive and team-oriented mindset.
