Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Job Summary Yantra Design Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our Design team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving CNC machines, special purpose machines (SPMs), fixtures, and automation solutions.

The role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead design activities while ensuring products meet quality, performance, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsiblity

Design and develop 2D and 3D mechanical models for CNC machines, SPMs, fixtures, and automation systems.

Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Review and validate designs to ensure accuracy, functionality, manufacturability, and cost optimization.

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Project teams for smooth project execution.

Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning.

Drive product improvement, value engineering, and design optimization initiatives.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T; practices, and company design guidelines.

Maintain design documentation, revision records, and version control.

Mentor and guide junior design engineers and trainees.





Participate in technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders whenever required.

Required Skills Strong knowledge of Mechanical Design and Machine Design principles.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Experience in designing CNC machines, SPMs, fixtures, or industrial automation equipment.

Good understanding of GD&T;, geometric tolerances, manufacturing processes, and material selection.

Knowledge of machining, fabrication, sheet metal, and assembly practices.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines.

Good communication and team collaboration skills. Qualification B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience 4–8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in CNC machine manufacturing, machine tools, or industrial automation.
