Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong Power BI and Tableau reporting expertise to support the ongoing evolution of a up-to-date cloud-based analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing data solutions using DBT , Snowflake , and a Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) framework.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and reporting teams to design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions. The environment includes multilingual datasets containing both English and Hebrew source data, making attention to data interpretation and business context critical for success.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering & Modeling

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using DBT and Snowflake .
- Build and optimize data transformations across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers within a Medallion Architecture.
- Develop reusable DBT models, tests, documentation, and deployment processes.
- Create and maintain dimensional data models, star schemas, and business-friendly semantic layers.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance,



and consistency across the platform.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage utilization, and compute costs.

Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions in Power BI and Tableau .
- Design dashboards, KPI scorecards, operational reports, and executive analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data models.
- Create certified reporting datasets and semantic models supporting self-service analytics.
- Ensure reporting measures and business logic remain consistent across platforms.

Data Platform Operations
- Support data refresh, orchestration, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work within the existing refresh framework where:
- Source systems synchronize with Snowflake every two hours .
- Gold layer reporting datasets are processed on a daily schedule .
- Identify opportunities to improve refresh frequency, performance, automation, and reliability.
- Participate in release management, CI/CD processes, and code reviews.

Multilingual Data Management
- Work with source data available in both English, German, Italian, Hebrew .
- Ensure data transformations preserve critical language-sensitive business attributes.
- Support analysts and business users in interpreting datasets where Hebrew and English columns must be referenced together.
- Validate reporting outputs across multilingual data sources.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics Engineering.




- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake .
- Strong experience with DBT development and deployment.
- Experience implementing and supporting Medallion Architecture data platforms.
- Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- Experience building enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using:
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- SnowPro Certification.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data platforms.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or similar.
- Familiarity with data governance, data cataloging, and metadata management.
- Experience supporting multilingual or international datasets.
- Knowledge of row-level security, semantic modeling, and enterprise BI governance.
