Role Highlights

- Oversee the complete paint shop operations, ensuring smooth and effective production.
- Monitor powder coating and painting processes to achieve superior finish and product quality.
- Plan daily production schedules to meet dispatch and manufacturing targets.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and process controls.
- Optimize paint consumption and minimize wastage to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and supervise paint shop operators and technicians.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for seamless workflow.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of painting equipment, booths, ovens, and conveyor systems.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Maintain workplace safety, 5S practices, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

- 7–8 years of experience in paint shop operations within the bicycle, automotive, engineering, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industry.




- Strong knowledge of powder coating, surface preparation, pretreatment, curing, and painting processes.
- Experience in handling paint shop manpower, production planning, and quality control.
- Understanding of paint chemistry, coating thickness standards, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of safety practices, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Quality, Lean Manufacturing, or Industrial Safety will be an added advantage.
