We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization through robust, high-performance data solutions on the Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Leverage Microsoft Fabric (including OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Pipelines, and Lakehouse) to develop end-to-end data engineering solutions.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources (structured and unstructured).

- Optimize data processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Work closely with data analysts, BI developers, and stakeholders to deliver business-ready data models.

- Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are implemented and followed.

- Participate in solution architecture, technical documentation, and performance tuning.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in development, QA, and production environments.





Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a solid focus on the Azure ecosystem.

- Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, data flows, triggers, integration runtimes.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, especially with Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, and Fabric Pipelines.

- Have good hands-on experience in notebook development and Apache Spark.

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other distributed compute platforms.

- Experience in working with delta lakes, parquet files, and data lake storage (ADLS Gen2).

- Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL best practices.

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git integration for data solutions.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Data Governance tools like Purview.

- Understanding of security & access control mechanisms in Azure.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
