About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Engineer Quality to lead supplier inspections and product conformity verification for components manufactured across India. You'll be based in Gurugram, reporting to the Manager Quality, Services (India), with frequent travel to supplier sites for hands-on inspection work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct supplier inspections from raw material to final dispatch readiness for fabricated, machined, cast, forged, and bought-out components as per drawings, ITPs, and specifications.
- Verify dimensions, GD&T;, welding, fit-up, coating, marking, and preservation requirements.
- Review MTCs, dimensional reports, calibration records, heat treatment, and NDT documentation.




- Coordinate and witness NDT activities (UT, MT, PT, VT) as required.
- Release inspection reports and NCRs, ensuring timely closure.
- Drive supplier follow-up on corrective actions and continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, and planning teams to resolve quality issues.

What We're Looking For

- B.Tech or equivalent / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 812 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing inspection.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, castings, forgings, and assemblies.
- Proficiency in reading drawings, tolerances, GD&T;, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of NDT methods UT, MT, PT, VT.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and traceability discipline.
- Proven experience in supplier management, RCA/CAPA, and travel-intensive inspection roles.
