JD - DESIGN ENGINEER- F & B PROCESS

Location : Borivali

Role Definition: Being Responsible for Designing & Developing Products (Drawings) as per Requirement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Understanding , visualizing & designing Products

 Research & Development activity for product Innovation

 Designing Products that meets Specification

 Being Creative to make Products Versatile & 2sd; Cost effective

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Prepare and update 2D and 3D drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants, such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), Process & Instrument Diagram (P & ID), Civil Plant layout, Puddle

Fabrication Drawing, Civil Tank General arrangement drawings, equipment layouts, and piping layouts &Piping; Isometrics Drawings, Vessel fabrication drawing, Frontal fabrication drawing,

UF & RO skid fabrication drawings, Hook up drawings.

 Perform detailed process calculations, equipment sizing, and selection for components like pumps, filters, and membranes, Consolidated BOM (UPVC, SS, and MS) (e.g., MBBR, MBR, and

SBR).

 Assisting in the preparation of the Bill of Materials by providing accurate dimensional and quantity inputs derived from the drawings.





 Work closely with design and project engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and to gather technical information.

 Modify drawings based on client or consultant feedback and redline markups.

 Ensure all drawings follow relevant company and industry standards, maintain version control,

and support the preparation of other project documentation.

 Provide dimensional inputs from drawings to assist with BOQ preparation and, if necessary, visit sites to take measurements for as-built drawings.

 Provide technical input and support during the bidding and proposal stage for new projects.

Required qualifications and skills:

 A Bachelor & degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Advance Diploma in Water Quality Management.

 5 Years in business development of capital equipment in food and beverage industry.

 Preference: Water treatment/UV Disinfection/HVAC/Food/Fruit Processing.

 Knowledge in WTP, ETP, RO, STP etc.

 Able to complete projects in a timely manner

 Excellent computer literacy is must and knowledge of visualization would be preferred.

 The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

 Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
