Cyncly is hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer to drive AI-assisted development and improve engineering productivity across the SDLC. The role focuses on building AI/ML and GenAI solutions, integrating them into developer workflows, and maintaining quality and governance standards.

Role: Sr. AI/ML Engineer - SDLC

Location: Kochi or Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Experience

- 5 years of experience in software engineering

- Strong exposure to AI/ML

- Proven experience building AI/ML or GenAI-based products

- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation

- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or LangChain

- Hands-on experience evaluating and fine-tuning open-source models

- Experience with ASTs and code-parsing tools like Tree-sitter or LSP

- Hands-on experience with graph databases and knowledge graphs or GraphRAG

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field

- Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field

Responsibilities

- Build AI/ML and GenAI-powered tools to optimize SDLC stages

- Develop systems for code generation, code review, testing automation, and defect prediction

- Improve engineering productivity by identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing AI-driven optimizations

- Reduce cycle time through automation and decision-support systems

- Design solutions for code assistance,



documentation generation, and test case generation

- Support end-to-end application or feature development from PRDs

- Build reusable AI agents, APIs, and internal tools for engineering teams

- Integrate AI solutions with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, issue-tracking systems, and version-control platforms

- Work with structured and unstructured engineering data such as code repositories, logs, and tickets

- Design and develop RAG pipelines where required

- Ensure responsible AI usage, model performance monitoring, and security compliance

- Establish standards and best practices for AI-assisted software development

Additional Responsibilities

- Support collaboration with global teams during 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST

- Maintain code quality and engineering standards while accelerating development velocity

Nice To Have

- Experience using open-source models such as Qwen, DeepSeek, Llama, or GLM to automate SDLC workflows

- Familiarity with vLLM or Ollama

- Experience democratizing large repos for new users
