General Accounting Responsibilities

- Record daily transactions like sales, purchases, and cash payments.

- Reconcile bank statements to match company books with bank data.

- Prepare financial reports such as the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.

- Support audits by keeping files clean and easy to check. [1, 2, 3, 4]

GST Work Responsibilities

- Calculate correct GST amounts on all sales and purchases.

- File monthly and annual GST returns like GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 on time.

- Manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) by matching purchase invoices with vendor data in GSTR-2B.

- Generate E-way bills for smooth product movement and transport.

- Handle tax notices and reply to queries from tax departments. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Core Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and maintain general ledgers.

- Reconciliations:



Conduct bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.

- Auditing & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure adherence to GAAP or local tax regulations.

- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and review the work of staff accountants and bookkeepers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Key Requirements

- Experience: 1 to 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software like Tally Prime.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
