Led by a behaviour therapy professional with a solid academic foundation in counselling psychology and behavioural interventions, the centre emphasizes measurable progress, realistic goals, and transparent communication with families. Located in Hyderabad, it promotes collaborative therapy involving the therapist, child, and caregivers.
Role Description The Speech Therapist will work full time on-site at the Hyderabad centre, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one and small-group speech therapy sessions. The role involves supporting children with articulation issues, fluency disorders, language delays, and feeding or swallowing difficulties where relevant.
The Speech
Therapist will collaborate closely with behaviour therapists, psychologists,
and families to integrate speech goals into broader developmental plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on measurable outcomes. Documentation of sessions, maintenance of accurate records, and transparent communication with parents and caregivers about strategies for home practice are also key aspects of the position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, goal-setting, and evidence-based intervention.
Candidates should possess expertise in managing Speech and Communication Disorders, with experience in pediatric populations.
Candidates should possess skills in working with Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language challenges.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Dysphagia and related feeding or swallowing issues, and be able to address them safely where required.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Relevant professional registration or licensure as a Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist, as applicable.
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges is highly beneficial.
Ability to design individualized treatment plans, track outcomes, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to guide and train parents and caregivers.
