About The Role The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) Business Partner role at Oracle is a strategic position that combines business acumen with financial expertise. This role involves acting as a functional expert and business partner, providing detailed analysis, insights, and decision-making support to key stakeholders across various business units. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping future business strategies by translating complex data into actionable insights.

A strong understanding of sales cycles, expense management, and end-to-end process/system workflows is essential. The role requires proactive engagement with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Business Operations, and Global Business Functions (GBF), to facilitate accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.

Responsibilities Act as a co-pilot to Business Partners by providing end-to-end support for specific business areas, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and strategies.

Own responsibilities and tasks related to financial planning, analysis, and reporting, delivering dedicated support to designated business units.

Collaborate closely with GBF, Business,



and Business Operations teams to execute deliverables such as forecast and budget reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Provide expertise in defining and implementing organizational changes, including the development and refinement of the Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA).

Participate actively in GPO initiatives and projects to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and support organizational growth.

Translate vague or ad hoc business requirements into comprehensive and productive analyses, including scenario building for long-range planning and competitive analysis.

Interpret business needs and define innovative solutions that meet objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of key business drivers and KPIs.

Develop, review, and update KPIs regularly to reflect evolving business dynamics, and incorporate these metrics into reports and dashboards for management review.

Drive discussions with stakeholders, consolidate diverse viewpoints, and effectively communicate positions, especially in the absence of Finance Business Partners.

Lead and own critical initiatives or projects, conducting periodic reviews, providing progress updates, and initiating course corrections as necessary.

Champion standardization and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Mentor and train analysts, designing comprehensive training programs to enhance team capabilities and foster continuous improvement.

Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency gains, propose innovative solutions, and share best practices across teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities In addition to core duties, the role involves leading initiatives aimed at process standardization and automation, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a team-oriented environment.



The candidate will be expected to proactively seek out opportunities for operational efficiencies, propose practical solutions, and share insights to enhance overall team performance. Participation in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve data accuracy, reporting, and strategic decision-making is also a key component of this role.

Qualifications Educational Background: MBA, Chartered Accountant (CA), CIMA, or CMA qualification.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with a proven track record of supporting business decision-making at senior levels.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, advanced MS-Office skills, and a solid understanding of ERP and CRM systems.

Core Competencies: Strong analytical capabilities, strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
