: EUC Specialist (Pharma IT)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Specialist with 10+ years of expertise in Pharma IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of asset management, patch management, and end-user support within regulated pharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-user computing infrastructure across pharmaceutical IT environments.
- Oversee asset management processes, ensuring accurate inventory and lifecycle tracking of IT assets.
- Implement and monitor patch management strategies to maintain compliance and security.
- Provide advanced support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and EUC applications.
- Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to pharma industry regulations (GxP, FDA, etc.).
- Drive automation and standardization of EUC processes to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for EUC hardware and software support.
- Train and mentor junior EUC staff, building a strong second line of resources.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in EUC management within Pharma IT environments.
- Strong expertise in asset management tools and processes.




- Hands-on experience with patch management solutions (SCCM, Intune, WSUS, etc.).
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux desktop environments.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in pharmaceutical IT (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Citrix.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based EUC solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure AD).
- Understanding of endpoint security tools and practices.
- Experience with remote desktop and support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Services).
- Ability to manage and deploy software using enterprise deployment tools.
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals relevant to EUC environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) preferred.
