The center offers speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, group therapies, social skills groups, early intervention programs, sensory integration, play therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), and parent training programs.

Role Description the Special Education Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves assessing learners’ needs, developing individualized education plans, and implementing evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to children with diverse developmental and learning profiles. The Specialist will collaborate daily with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, caregivers, and school personnel to align therapy and educational goals and to monitor progress.

Responsibilities include adapting learning materials,



conducting one-on-one and small group sessions, documenting and reporting on student outcomes, and providing guidance and training to families to support learning at home. The role also includes participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to program development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Special Education and Education, including experience designing and delivering individualized learning plans for children.

Candidates should possess skills in education and Working with Children, with the ability to use behavior support strategies in therapeutic and educational settings.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and effective family engagement.

Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field; qualified certification in special education is an advantage.

Experience in working with children, early intervention, or school-based settings, and familiarity with child lead, sensory, play-based instruction, approaches are beneficial.

Ability to work collaboratively, maintain accurate records, uphold ethical and inclusive practices, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in a diverse community.
