Role Description This is a full-time, in office Solar Engineer role based in Jaipur.

The Solar

Engineer will design and optimize PV solar systems, including rooftop and ground-mounted installations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and local regulations. Daily responsibilities include conducting site assessments, preparing detailed electrical and PV layouts, performing energy yield calculations, and selecting appropriate components and equipment. The role involves coordinating with project managers and construction teams, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and troubleshooting technical issues during project execution.





The Solar

Engineer will also contribute to cost estimations, documentation, and continuous improvement of design processes to enhance efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of the Solar Industry and Solar Power, Kusum Projects, including current technologies, standards, and market practices.

Hands-on experience with Solar Systems, including rooftop and utility-scale PV installations and system performance evaluation.

Proficiency in PV Design, including system sizing, layout design, shading analysis, and energy yield estimation.

Competence in Electrical Design for solar projects, including single-line diagrams, cable sizing, protection schemes, and grid interconnection.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.

Experience with design and simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD or similar) is highly beneficial.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.

Prior experience in EPC solar projects or field execution will be an advantage.
