Description About the Team The Licensing and Provisioning organization is the foundation for defining and delivering customer entitlements across Salesforce products. Our mission is to ensure customers receive the correct product licenses and feature entitlements at the right time, whether through order-based, early, manual, or mass provisioning. We own critical, high-scale systems like customer tenant provisioning and transparent aggregation that govern license reconciliation and system integrity for all customer orgs.

We are also redefining how Salesforce provides transparency to our customers for their licensing utilization and consumption.

Role Overview As an MTS Integration Quality Engineer, you'll own the quality of Salesforce's Licensing & Provisioning platform by defining test strategies, creating comprehensive test plans, building scalable automation frameworks, and strengthening CI/CD release pipelines. You'll partner closely with engineering teams to detect issues early, drive end-to-end integration quality, and develop regression tests that prevent recurring production issues. You'll also work with large-scale datasets and contribute to building AI-powered tools and automation that improve engineering productivity, accelerate testing, and enhance release quality.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who treats test code as production code and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing with a quality-first mindset.

Define comprehensive test strategies and create detailed test plans for new features and platform initiatives.

Build automated test suites that validate complex licensing, provisioning, and cross-cloud workflows.

Participate in Test Design Reviews, ensuring coverage for functional, integration, business-critical, usability, and accessibility scenarios.





Strengthen CI/CD quality gates and continuously improve release readiness through automation and test reliability.

Execute testing across complex org configurations, diverse data shapes, and distributed service integrations.

Drive cross-team and cross-cloud integration testing to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, UX, and partner teams to identify quality risks, improve testability, and deliver high-quality features.

Participate in code and design reviews, providing feedback to improve product quality, maintainability, and testability.

Monitor and improve quality health metrics, including automation coverage, test stability, release quality, and defect trends.

Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and build regression tests to prevent future occurrences.

Leverage AI-powered tools and contribute to AI-driven quality engineering solutions that improve developer productivity and testing efficiency.

Mentor teammates on automation best practices, quality engineering principles, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or a related technical field.

Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.

Hands-on experience designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Experience validating core and off-core service integrations, distributed systems,



and microservices-based architectures.

Strong experience in integration testing, API testing, and cross-cloud or cross-service validation.

Experience building or leveraging AI-powered engineering tools, LLM-based workflows, or AI-assisted automation to improve developer productivity and testing efficiency.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases, SQL, and test data management.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills with a quality-first mindset.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple engineering teams.

Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Q3 Integration testing, enterprise SaaS validation, and quality engineering at scale.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

Experience validating Licensing & Provisioning workflows, entitlement systems, and complex customer journeys.

Proven ability to drive cross-cloud integration testing and end-to-end workflow validation across service boundaries.
