Role Description As a Software Engineer at The Agentic Loop, you will design, build, and maintain backend services and tools that power our AI-driven content, learning experiences, and community platform. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop and refine APIs, implement scalable and reliable server-side logic, integrate AI models and data sources, and collaborate with other team members to ship features that support our publication and programs. You will write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions that keep our systems secure, maintainable, and easy to extend.





This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring strong communication, ownership, and the ability to work effectively across time zones. Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Experience in Back-End Web Development, building and maintaining APIs and server-side applications.

Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, using at least one modern language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java).

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.

Familiarity with contemporary development practices such as version control (Git), testing frameworks, CI/CD, and code review processes.

Interest in AI, agentic systems, and developer tools, with willingness to learn and work close to emerging technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech, collaborate in a remote environment, and take ownership of projects from idea to deployment.
