Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services using Java and Python.

Build and enhance cloud-native applications and microservices on Microsoft Azure.

Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities, including speech, NLP, GenAI, and intelligent automation features.

Design and implement APIs, data pipelines, and service integrations with internal and external platforms.

Evaluate, integrate, and operationalize LLMs, speech services, and AI frameworks into production environments.

Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making across multiple systems.

Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, observability, performance optimization, and operational best practices.

Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Mentor team members and contribute to innovation initiatives, patents, and technical leadership activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.

Strong hands-on development experience in Java and Python.

Experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.





Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Experience with Azure cloud services and up-to-date CI/CD practices.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML, NLP, speech technologies, GenAI, LLMs, RAG architectures, or conversational AI.

Familiarity with technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure ML, LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MLflow.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, observability, and DevOps practices.

Exposure to speech recognition, voice applications, healthcare workflows, or real-time communication systems.

Experience working in Agile product development environments.

This version positions the role as approximately 70% Backend Engineering (Java/Python/Cloud) and 30% AI/ML & GenAI, which will attract a broader and stronger engineering talent pool than a pure AI-focused JD.
