- Job Title: Software Engineer PDC Test Fixtures
- Location: Bangalore, India (In office / Lab Environment)
- Experience: 4 to 6 Years
- Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time
- Work Setup: 5 days a week (Lab setup; flexible shift support based on business needs)
- Travel: 20% – 30% (Domestic and International, including travel to Israel)

About the Role As part of the Worldwide Manufacturing Operations (WMO) – Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) team, you will design, develop, and deploy custom software applications for Semi and Fully Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

You will build software to test complex electro-mechanical modules, data acquisition (DAQ) controllers, motion controls, sensors, and pneumatic/fluid devices used in high-precision semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Software & Automation Development: Design, write, debug, and deploy full-stack applications and automated test scripts for functionality testing on ATE systems.
- UI & Web Interface Development: Build responsive graphical interfaces using PyQt / PySide (desktop) and modern web UI components using React and Next.js.
- Backend & Data Logging: Architect database systems for real-time data logging, telemetry analysis,



and automated test reporting using Django.
- Hardware & Protocol Integration: Integrate test software with hardware controllers, sensors (thermal, vibration, pressure), and optical light sources/lasers using industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, Serial, TCP/IP, VISA).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and global stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Qualifications & Skills Required

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Core Programming: Python, JavaScript, PyQt / PySide, Django, React, Next.js.
- Hardware & DAQ: NI cDAQ, Beckhoff IOs, ATE setups, Motion Controllers, Electro-mechanical/Pneumatic testing setups.
- Communication Protocols: Serial (RS-232/422/485), EtherCAT, Modbus, DeviceNet, Digital/Analog IO, TCP/IP Sockets, VISA, SPI, FTDI.
- Version Control: Git / Bitbucket.
- Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
