ESU-EI is seeking a highly skilled Google Apigee Tech Lead to lead API development and integration initiatives for the Customer. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Google Apigee X/Hybrid/Edge, API Management, API Security, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The role involves leading a team of developers, driving API governance, ensuring best practices, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance API solutions. Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Apigee developers in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise APIs.
Design and implement API proxies, shared flows, security policies, and API products.
Define API development standards, coding guidelines, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and customer teams to deliver API-led solutions.
Drive API lifecycle management, versioning, and documentation.
Ensure API security implementation using OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC, and mTLS.
Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.
Monitor API performance and implement optimization strategies.
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps best practices.
Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and release management activities.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and security standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
